[#CODEPLEX] Integrating with external services from Codeplex

CodePlex is fine. Vale that has no advertising or broadcasting of other popular services such as e.g. GitHub, is however still very well. For those who do not know, it is possible to choose different options for Source Control Reporitosry, Mercurial or TFS among others, contains a bug integrated tracking that is very well, so a Release Management that already more than one would like to have or even the ability to automatically publish a project compiled from CodePlex to AZURE. This is a small part of what we can find in CodePlex.

Now, leo here now also can integrate services such as Twitter or Trello to report actions or events of CodePlex projects. for example every time you close a version that moves a PostIt in Trello or that you can post a Tweet with certain information.

According to official post the supported services are the following:

  • Campfire – Notify to Campfire chat room when commits occur
  • HipChat – Notify to HipChat chat room when commits occur
  • Trello – Add commit summaries to Trello cards by referencing those cards in commit messages
  • Twitter – Notify your Twitter followers when updates are pushed to your project

And the truth that is cool Winking smile
