Buenas,

por fin una VM de prueba para Visual Studio 2012 y Team Foundation Server 2012 que tiene algo más que los típicos labs de ALM. En este caso, tenemos un lab que ya nos permite ver la interacción real entre System Center Operation Manager 2012 y Team Foundation Server 2012:

In this lab, you will learn about how communications and workflow between operations and development teams can be improved by utilizing System Center Operations Manager 2012, Team Foundation Server 2012, and Visual Studio Ultimate 2012. As you walk through the exercises, you will see how Operations Manager can monitor a sample ASP.NET website, synchronize select operational alerts with Team Foundation Server, and automate the collection and delivery of IntelliTrace logs to the development team.

Si lo quieres ver/mostrar sin la necesidad de utilizar las máquinas virtuales, también puedes utilizar las demos creadas con DemoMate (online DemoMate | offline DemoMate installer).

Volviendo a los requerimientos para la descarga de las VMs, son los siguientes:

• This is a Hyper-V virtual machine and works with Windows Server 2008 x64, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows 8 (with SLAT-capable processors) and Windows Server 2012.
• 10 GB of free physical RAM (12 GB or more recommended)
  7 GB of RAM assigned to this virtual machine (8 GB or more recommended)
• 50 GB of free hard disk space (more recommended if using snapshots)
• Please take a few minutes to read the “Working with…” document for some important instructions on properly importing and working with this virtual machine.

• Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Express
• Sample data required to support the hands-on-lab / demo script.

Yo me descargaré los 18GB, que luego requieren 50GB de disco para probar en estos días. Aprovechando además de que el fabuloso Windows 8 ya tiene Hyper-V como feature incorporada.
