Good,
in Team Foundation Server 2005 and Team Foundation Server 2008 if they used a service account with a user that the password caducaba you, as the update of the associated services was a sensitive issue. On the one hand it was necessary to upgrade all Windows services associated to this account, and also we should do the same with the IIS Application Pools to be taken correctly the changes.
With Team Foundation Server 2010 this is simplified enough that with the next steps we have all the elements associated with Team Foundation Server 2010 updated.
- Access Team Foundation Server Administration Console
- Select node Application Tier
- Select Application Tier Summary section
- Select Update Password
- Change the password
- Donate!
This process is responsible for updating all Windows services, the services of SQL, etc.
If we also have a plan for BackUp using an account with user/pwd, casuistry is similar.
- Access Team Foundation Server Administration Console
- Select node Team Foundation BackUps
- Select Update Password
- Change the password
- Donate!
