Pues bien … ahora resulta que solo "parte" del nuevo Longhorn estara basado en .Net 2.0.

Mary Jo Foley reports that only some parts of Longhorn will be based on .NET 2.0, rather than the entire OS, as originally intended. If this latest bout of indigestion is true, developers gain compatibility at the expense of the superior developer environment of .NET.

  1. Asi que los de MS se hecharon para atrás con realizar todo el SO en .Net. ¿Será por algunos problemitas de performance, quizás?Quizás se pelearon con los proveedores de RAM y ahora no quieren darles tanto negocio.

  2. jejeje … .Net 2.0 ??? mmm … me parece q sigue siendo windows completito, pero con los nuevos componentes en .Net (WinFS, Avalon, etc) … veremos veremos … 😀
