Hello!

I’m testing some cool code projects with “non MS Stuff” for my talk in the MVP Open Day “Just4Fun“; but the main idea is not lo leave Java friends outside, so let’s share some interesting news for them related to what’s new in Visual Studio Online. In the latest updates, there are a couple of TFS2013 features that are quite interesting for Java developers.

IMHO the best one is an improvements for the people who work with GIT and Java in VSOnline, now we can have local build server integrated with VSOnline, ie ANT or MAVEN. With Update 1 it is possible to create a definition of build for ANT or MAven and … well you know the story, triggers with a Commit, CI, etc.

If one is not already aware how to perform this work with Eclipse and VSOnline, for example, this online tutorial explains it step by step!

And now I’m with C++ and a few headaches, before leaving for the football, make barbecue/BBQ and then a bit of family time! Happy Coding Open-mouthed smile
