Finally, after the official launch of Visual Studio 2013 I can start writing about the hug amount of features included in Visual Studio 2013 and Team Foundation Server 2013. I’ll start today with a cool one:
The chance to use a web version of Visual Studio to edit websites contents.
The first thing to do is access our AZURE account, and select a Website. Inside the website same configuration, you will see an new option called “EDIT IN VISUAL STUDIO ONLINE”
Once activated this option, go to the main dashboard of the website, and you’ll have the option to launch an instance of Visual Studio Online
And now starts the fun stuff. I will require an username and password to authenticate you, and after this you can see the structure of the site, and the files within it.
If you access to the list of JS files will see… the code, with intellisense, and other features ! And here begins the pain for my … this app has been created by designers and published directly to Azure, see the Publisher draws our attention by a couple of things.
For example, there are no semicolons in the js file … and of course, JavaScript can process everything and continues working
Not to mention the code in Spanish!
But well, the development environment has some interesting things, for example, the settings section.

Not all options have an editor, in fact editing is done like the intrepid real… handmade in text mode.
