Hello

a few days ago, I had the opportunity to present the possibility to use InRelease together with Team Foundation Server 2013. InRelease as a product is very easy, however is not so easy to explain. Here’s a very simple summary:

-This is a product to manage deployments (among other things). This tool have been purchased by Microsoft this year and will be 100% integrated with Visual Studio 2013 ALM (TFS2013)

-InRelease is a new “server” which has a couple of customers who are in charge of the deployment of the applications created by a TF build

-In addition to this (deployers) there are a couple of applications, desktop and web, for DEV and QA teams which can be used to evaluate the quality of a display

– etc …

Needless to say that at this point, half of the audience had fallen asleep and the other half was texting to therir friend with WhatsApp. So to attract attention, I sent them to grab a coffee start Hyper-V, Start the VM from Brian Keller and that’s it…  I followed the demo script and in 10 minutes everyone was aware of the capabilities of InRelease.

If you have less time… as a 3 minute here is a life saving video
