[#TOOLS] HowTo: Create an Animated Gif from a video file

in my last few posts, when I needed to show a feature of the IDE of Visual Studio 2013, I chose to put animated GIFs instead of videos. This me factory Camtasia Studio, after processing a video generating options is the GIF option

It’s is very useful, since it allows me to create videos like this:

And not depend on a Youtube or Vimeo account. This is great, although I am aware that the Camtasia license is not available to all and is a very good product and a little expensive.

So I looked for a site to make online conversion and I found http://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-gif. In these cases I prefer to search a site conversion do it in ONLINE mode to save me having to install something in local.

As I said, I have created an AVI with Camtasia in the previous example, started to be processed with this online site
