Today I give you a look at one of those little things that makes that Visual Studio has one of the best code editors that there are (say not the best to not sound like enlarged, although it should be).
It’s Peek Definition. This feature allows us to “see” the contents of a method or function of code without having to open a new tab or browse to it. The truth is that the best way to explain it is with an animation and the Visual Studio Team says it all.
Instead of going to the InvestigateMe() definició, Peef Definicion is selected (ALT + F12) and ready, a small code embedded Viewer we allow view code.
Still I have not experienced it, but it seems that we can enter a mode PEEK DEFINITION INCEPTION where within a Peek Definition Viewer, we opened another and then another, and then another…
