Good,

Today we are going with a quickie Visual Studio 2013; new profiles of users for Visual Studio 2013. If you have set in the new IDE in the right top we have our user profile. This clear, whether to launch the IDE have put username and password to identify yourself with a Microsoft Account.

Once identified we must be able to see our data as in the following image.

As well, if you access your account you will see the same “life time” which fits with your license and your personal data.

Returning to the IDE, if we connect to a Team Project, for example in tfs.visualstudio.com, we see the identity with which we are connected to this team project. The following image, MSDN example shows us this case:

And this what? Then think about this as the first step towards having a unique identity associated with your tfs.visualstudio.com profile. I in the last few days I have installed 3 or 4 versions of Win81. I would have appreciated not having to configure each time all settings of Visual Studio 201 X. This account can also be which identify us with AZURE services, internal services of our company, etc. And each of these settings will now be “imported” in the moment that we authenticate with it.
