Buenas,

If ever thought that installing the extensions of Visual Studio Tools for Git was something simple and trivial, because you are wrong you che. It is easier to think that the Earth is still and the Sun revolves around it (as says this crack) that install only official Extensions from Git for Visual Studio 2012.

If you download it from the official website (without reading the prerequisites) and give it to install, you come across a beautiful:

, Of course, need the Visual Studio 2012 Update 2 CTP installed to follow. Is now under your conscience see whether or not you install the CTP of Update 2 (which we are reckless and do pee standing with hiccups not hesitate do it unflinchingly).

Another option, which also works very well is to install Git Source Control Provider ; an excellent extension of Visual Studio 2012, allowing you to work with sites such as GitHub in a very simple way. Has very good documentation here and if for example you want to create a local repository, you can do so with the following steps.

1. Visual Studio 2012 options, change the Source Control plug-in by the of Git Source Control Provider .

2. Creates a console application. Select the solution displays the context menu and select “Git -Create new repository”

3. At this time, it is possible to see how the solution is integrated with a source control management system.
