Buenas,
yesterday during the Team Foundation Service 2012 event with the guys from SecondNug, arose a couple of questions and comments that I proposed to meet the future posts. Today start with the easy wrong, which was related to the settings of the profile of the user in TFS2012.
What we see then is the options we have to edit the information from the web portal for access to TFS.
Once inside the options, we can see the Account Microsoft (Live Id before) that we use to make the LogIn and we can also change the display name, email address, and the subject with which we want to see the Team Web Access portal.
Change the Display Name, interestingly both be in Source Control, as in the WorkItems, etc. when a reference is made to my user instead of using my ID, the display name is used. In this case “the Bruno”.
The same happens with the preferred email. If we don’t want notifications and TFS alerts us reaching our Microsoft Account, then this is the site to define the correct e-mail address.
Other options that can be modified are the language / culture of the web application, the format of dates and times, and the time zone in which we are working.
In the CONNECTIONS section we see external services that we connected with our account, for example, if we use OAuth in any application for Windows Phone to analyze information in our TFS
Up here a little bit about the profile of the user, more tomorrow
Saludos @ Home
El Bruno
