We will continue with part of the new features of Visual Studio 11 and here to see the new interface for the edition of WorkItems. The first thing that attracts our attention is that the new editor is in a style very difernte to the previous, adapts to the new interface for Team Explorer and also focuses on display just the information you need. That is to say, even though there is no more “Tabs/tabs”, because you still seeing the same information but in more detail.

An interesting change what we see in the section of the history of a WorkItem. All changes to the WorkItems are not shown in it by default, but that we have 2 views: one in which we see comments on changes (default view) and the other showing all changes.

Let’s look at the first case in a task, where we see that there are no comments about the changes

but in the detail view if we see that the WorkItem fields have changed however.

If we see the same interface but in ECLIPSE, we see that it is similar but a little more “not beautiful” (i.e. JAVA che!)

Now however, the following images show as it is the edition of the WorkItems in the new WebAccess, where we see that the Visual Studio 11 Style is exactly the same (or very similar)
