Hi !

I have already share this information on several times in face to face conversations, so I will leave a post on my blog to have the permanent reference for it.

Christopher Bishop, Technical Fellow and Laboratory Director In Microsoft Research Cambridge, UK, gives us the chance to download for free his eBook about Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning. With more than 700 pages of a highly recommended reading

Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning

This leading textbook provides a comprehensive introduction to the fields of pattern recognition and machine learning. It is aimed at advanced undergraduates or first-year PhD students, as well as researchers and practitioners. No previous knowledge of pattern recognition or machine learning concepts is assumed. This is the first machine learning textbook to include a comprehensive coverage of recent developments such as probabilistic graphical models and deterministic inference methods, and to emphasize a modern Bayesian perspective. It is suitable for courses on machine learning, statistics, computer science, signal processing, computer vision, data mining, and bioinformatics. This hard cover book has 738 pages in full colour, and there are 431 graded exercises (with solutions available below). Extensive support is provided for course instructors.

#Ebook – Free ebook: Machine Learning with #MATLAB

I1.png

Hi!

Today is Friday, so it’s time for a quick post. I’m also sure that right now I’ll be on the FanExpo In Toronto with my little ones visiting Aquaman /Jason Momoa.

The Friends of Mathworks, parents of Matlab, are sharing for free this Machine Learning ebook

Machine Learning with MATLAB

Yesterday while I was returning home from work, I read the 1st section, and it is quite enjoyable reading. Yes, depending on the experience you have, Matlab as a language can be a little “special”.

Happy Coding!

Buenas!

Machine Learning with MATLAB

Happy Coding!

#EBooks – More than 350 free ebooks on #Microsoft technologies (+3GBs on ebooks !)

Hi!

This was a huge new last week, and I’m going to repost this to have this in my personal archive. Eric Ligman, Director Sales Excellence Microsoft, has published a post where he shared tons of free ebooks on Microsoft technologies (link). This is more than 3GBs on FREE TECHNOLOGY EBOOKS.

In the original post, we can find all the name and abstract for each book title. We also have 2 different options to bulk download all the files. We can get a list of direct download links to use in an application like JDownloader.

The 2nd option is a PowerShell script, and it is very straight forward, 2 clicks later the process is already running and a couple of minutes later you can get all the files, choose one and copy the file to your Kindle.

Happy Reading!

Happy Reading!
