Hi !

A new twist on these days demos, based on a request from an online friend. Let’s remove and replace the background from our camera feed using a video. For this demo, I’m using the “Black Adam – Official Trailer 1“. And the output is kind of funny.

segmentor = SelfiSegmentation()
# read image
imgBg = cv2.imread('bg01.jpg')
imgBg = cv2.resize(imgBg, (320, 240))
# open camera
cap = cv2.VideoCapture(1)
capVideo = cv2.VideoCapture("BlackAdamOfficialTrailer.mp4")
while True:
# read image
ret, img = cap.read()
# read video frame
ret, videoFrame = capVideo.read()
if not ret:

# resize frames to 320 x 240

videoFrame = cv2.resize(videoFrame, (320, 240))
imgBgVideo = segmentor.removeBG(img, videoFrame , threshold=0.50)
# show both images
cv2.imshow('office',img)
cv2.imshow('Black Adam',videoFrame)
cv2.imshow('office with Black Adam',imgBgVideo)
if cv2.waitKey(1) & 0xFF == ord('q'):

# close camera
cap.release()
